National Projects
Maui Relief
In the wake of the devastating Maui fire catastrophe, Rotary and district 5230 are working together to provide relief to those impacted and displaced by the fires. Our Club’s efforts directly provide emergency relief, rebuilding homes, and assisting in the long-term recovery of the affected communities
Read Across America
Our Rotary Club regularly participates in Read Across America, a national program that promotes and celebrates reading. Our Club reads to elementary school aged students at all 12 local Lemoore area schools, including; Meadow Lane, Lemoore, Engvall, Cinnamon, Freedom, Island, Stratford, Central, Neurta, Akers, MIQ, and Kings Christian. We proudly donate the books we read to their school libraries.
Reach Out And Read
Reach Out and Read is a national program that connects pediatric offices and other clinicians to promote reading and literacy for young children. Our Rotary Club proudly donates new children’s books to local pediatrician offices to support this program. At our partner clinics, every child receives a book from the age of 6 months through 5 years of age at each Wellness visit.
National Night Out
National Night Out is an event building the relationship between law enforcement and the community at large. While most of the country participates in August, Lemoore hosts its event in October. Our Club provides barbeque and general event support. Visit Our Video Gallery to learn more!
